I would like to appreciate you moral point of view. Next, you should read books about the general immorality of politics. Then you would recognize how little democracy, fairness and respect are in the international relations and also within individual countries. And get informed about "victors' justice". History is dominantly written by the winners. America might be mean, especially under Trump, but who is so much better? Worse would be an option.
The Security Council of the UN consists of 15 states, 5 of them permanent, the others elected by the entire General Assembly, to serve two-year terms.

The permanent members are the countries which won WWII, in short.
Does the UN represent accurately the people of the member states? I suppose in large part, that depends on who are sent, to represent their countries. The less democratic a country is, the less likely it is, for that country's UN representatives, to work for the interest of the people of their country. As opposed to be working for the interests of the ruling autocrats, whoever they might be.
Given how the 10 non-permanent members of the Security Council are elected, by the entire General Assembly, you can expect that countries which send representatives which other counties do not trust, will not often be elected to serve in the Security Council.
"Morality," of course, is in the eye of the beholder. The most vicious people have a way of rationalizing how morally correct they are. I don't think that in today's world, there's any question about this.
Although The UN Charter sets out four main purposes, execution of those, is doubtful...
It is the best we have, but it is out of date especially when it is unable to solve the Palestinian problem.
It is time for someone or some government to propose a new UN body that represents ALL people.
