Albert Einstein as a condition of his theory of Relativity postulates that c is the maximum speed possible. Scientists could not find masses moving more than c. On the other hand, some scientists have postulated that the apparent speed of certain stars is greater than c. That means that the GTR could be false. What do you thing?
An apparent speed of faraway stars higher than c would not belie Einstein's limit, since it would come from the expansion of spacetime itself (or rather, from a combination of outspreading spacetime with a recession speed, the latter being less than c)
Not everything in the universe happens through speed and communication originating from A and moving to B, however. When no exchanges of materiality are involved, then other kinds of mechanisms can come into play.
