I think, no. The scientific facts, information, data, graphics, methods or process can be used/cited in scientific research only when they are published in a scientific journal.
Posts and comments of social media portals may be true or they may be taken from scientific journals. But in that case, correct citations should be there in that particular post or comments.
I don't recommend. Scientific authenticity and attestation of information is too vital, which is not necessarily the case with social media posts. You might have noticed how social media information moves throughout the world. One forward by an individual is being forwarded, multiple times by many, without confirming its authenticity and those unauthentic information could always create chaos!!! Posts are just views of an individual and may or may not be scientifically authentic!!!
I do not agree. but it depends on discipline of the scientific journals. some times even accredited ones accept the links and information from web pages.

I agree they can be used as material for a research. As said above, by some researchs, the context, the purposes, the methods used are important to consider this as material to study some issue from a scientific point of view.
I don't recommend that, but you can need it in methodology parts, as for analysis software citations or versions of of it, something like that
If you need to cite it, easy, you will open Zotero software, then hit on its mark on toolbar, then it will enter Zotero, extract it as RIS file, then enter this RIS file to Endnote normally, and cite it in your research

I agree, because it can be used as a primary source specially for history, sociology and arts.
I think you can, when you are applying the correct computational approaches and theoretical frameworks (currently a lack of) to analyze the data. Therefore, it is important to understand the methods used (as others have stated) - particularly if you are using specific algorithms in your scientific research. An acknowledgement of the limitations in social media data and the knowledge represented in these data sources are necessary when communicating to a broader audience. I think this reduces the possible knowledge misinterpretation by non-experts/general public.
Perhaps some posts or comments with useful inputs might be compiled and to be an idea towards the paper or articles wrote by a researcher.

I agree with the use of this resource for investigations, as long as personal data is respected
As a primary source for Human and Social Sciences, public data can be used, from social media, if they are public data. The use of non public data is another field to discuss. And, besides this, all the rules about ethics and research should be used to ask for a permission from de owner, depending on the case. Secrecy and confidentiality must be respected about de source of data.
