When I dipped a copper plate into a heated NaCl solution, a precipitate of copper was found in the solution.

Dear Asfak Patel thank you for your interesting technical question. It is known that the contact of metallic copper with sodium chloride solutions in the presence of oxygen (air) can lead to corrosion of the metallic copper. Did you check the composition of the precipitate?

I did not check the composition of precipitates. but yes the appearance of the precipitates was blue in color.
I read the paper you shared. Splendid work has been done and very well explained the chemistry of copper and chloride.
The concept of copper corrosion in NaCl solution is now cleared.
However, Figure 6 in paper mateials-05-02439 shows the red precipitates.
Will you please clear the concept of blue and red color precipitates of copper.
