Consider a wireless system with M times N quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) data symbols are modulated using OTFS, where M and N denote the number of REs (Resource Elements) in delay and Doppler domain, respectively. The sub-carrier space is defined as ∆f.

Then the delay and Doppler resolutions are 1/(M∆f) and ∆f/N respectively. Multiplying the two is 1/(MN), which is a small number, does that violate Heisenberg's uncertainty principle? Whether it affects OTFS sensing or communication performance?
