While inputting initial CRSS parameters for given slip systems in crystal plasticity models, I got stuck at understanding the effect of strain rate on initial CRSS of slip systems. It is in general known that the CRSS is low at lower strain rates (at a constant temperature).
I would like to know this for a simple case given below.
A single crystal with only one dislocation when deformed at different shear rates. Does the critical resolved shear stress change ?
