Good evening Dheivanai P. it depends upon what other categorical and continuous variables of interest you have that correspond. Age group, gender, socio economic status etc. I would have thought you'll put it all into SPSS, because you have to look at confounders and interactions. Hope this helps.
Hi, I agree with Deborah. It is better to have all the individual answers per subject. That way you can do a more in-depth and accurate analysis of what you are researching.
Hello Dheivanai P. If you would like a more powerful tool to analyze your results, then you should import your Excel data into SPSS. To do so, you simply can choose to open the particular Excel file from within the SPSS program. Of course, make sure the Excel file is properly formatted in order for it to be properly imported into SPSS. Once it is in SPSS, you can perform such analyses as factor analysis, correlation, and regression. You can also replicate your findings from your Excel analyses. All will be dependent upon your research questions.
