I'm working with conflict between human and bats in a chilean city, I need to know another experiences around the world, with bats, e.g. Tadarida brasiliensis
Thank you Jorge. Interesting that you are telling to me. About the old trees in Talca city, I think we have to search about this point, althrough old and big tree are scarce. Regarding about water surfaces, I think rivers and lesser watercourses in Talca can be relevant to bats. Do you have some document in relation to that or only the web page? Thank you again...
Thank you. Article is very interesting... Do you have some report that I can check about your work in Frankfurt, because data in web is scarce... I'm interested in steps that I can propose...Thank you beforehand.
Hi. You can contact with Dr. Matti Masing, from Estonia, who has published a poster or a conference paper on this subject, relating to the bat fauna of several European cities.
There is a very recent and interesting article on bats in urban environments:
Russo, D. & L. Ancillotto (in press). Sensitivity of bats to urbanization: A review. Mammal. Biol. (2014), http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.mambio.2014.10.003.
If you are still interested in this question I have just finished my PhD looking at bats in urban landscapes so hopefully I should be able to help. If you check my researchgate or google scholar profile you'll see the papers I've already published (with 2 more in review) which may be of some use? Happy to try and answer any additional questions if you need. Thanks
