Predicting functional sites is not easy since the consensus sites for ER and AR, as for many transcription factors allow some variation. You may try:

You can check if your gene of interest has androgen or estrogen receptor binding site in the promoter and enhancer region. you can check that using the F-match program in gene-regulation.

If the promoter and enhancer region is characterized,  use that sequence in F-match program. Otherwise, take about 10kb upstream the transcriptional start site of your gene and look for enrichment for ARE or ERE in F-match. AR and ER usually exert their effect from a distal enahncer rather than a proximal promoter region.
