I was wondering if adding accepted papers to arxiv makes the PDF files available on researchgate automatically. I am considering that the same DOI is submitted/available on both platforms.
It seems to me that ResearchGate takes bibliographic data from arXiv automatically, but without the files (example: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344552187). You may make an experiment: Add a preprint to arXiv and wait some days to see whether ResearchGate will add it automatically. But note that it may not be added automatically to your profile (in this case, search for the preprint's title at https://www.researchgate.net/search.Search.html?query=&type=publication and confirm your authorship).
