Does presence of DNA affect application of dsRNA during RNA interference of plant viruses?

I generated plant viral dsRNA using cDNA, two step PCR and T7 Ribomax kit for dsRNA production kit as published before. I also did a DNase treatment. However, not all the DNA was removed. I would like to apply the dsRNA exogenously on plants to activate RNAi mechanism for virus treatment. Do you think the presence of DNA will affect the application of dsRNA?

Obviously Yes because presence of abundance of DNA residues in RNA will contaminate the purity of the RNA
