Nitrocellulose does not auto-flouresce with the odyssey system. I use nitrocellulose from biorad and it works fine. I have not used Novex nitrocellulose but looked on the Fisher scientific website and it says that it is compatible with fluorescent systems. To my knowledge, the only membranes that auto-flouresce on the Odyssey infrared imagine system are PVDF and that is why they make specific PVDF membranes for this applicaiton.
