I was working on DLS (Malvern) for my other work. Out of curiosity, I have mixed known concentration of pure glycerol in DI water and run in DLS for size determination. The reading shows an increase in the size of the data (glycerol) as I increase in the concentration of glycerol.
Is this due to micelles layer formation between glycerol and water? Please share your thoughts and reason.

Have you run replicate measurements of each concentration? If so, were the size results repeatable? If they weren't then the data is not of sufficient quality to be able to draw any conclusions, and this stands for all DLS measurements.
DLS can measure sub nm sizes, as shown here in with the measurement of sucrose:

Sucrose has a Mw of 342 Da.
Glycerol has a Mw of 92 Da.
Whilst there may be some contribution to scattering, there will be insufficient correlatable light to reliably measure glycerol.
Alexander Malm Hello, thank you for replying. Yes, it does and i have made the error bar of each data. It doesn't show much variation in sizes. Thanks for sharing the article. Here I'm using a Malvern Nano-ZS series.
