Certainly, I think. General culture provides tools for the knowledge of humanity and its history. Artistic productions are testimonials about how people think, how they feel and how they are.
In particular, in analytical psychology a solid general culture is indispensable.
I think basically poetry can't be explained by any equation nevertheless, it usually explains much more than a long formal perfect somniferous but scientific text. Taking away poetry from Arab language is just cutting away 50% of the language. Language formalization is always damageable to the language. At the opposite, I think successful researchers should enhance general culture activities, before commercial activities manage to definitively lower the general culture level, because it's easier to sell to idiotic ignorant slaves. Science is just a part of Culture, and both are threaten by money and trade.

During the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) pandemic, due to the imposed lockdowns, cultural institutions were closed and the possibility of using their cultural services was limited. The Internet has proven to be helpful. Cultural institutions created their digital offers made available via the Internet.
