Hi Stanley,

it's not because they don't have eyelid that they don't sleep...even if they're still "swimming", a substantial drop in their activity is observed when sleeping. take the example of those fishes that stay in currents to give tham the possibility to swallow fresh water and extract oxygen, at lower but sufficient state.

Thanks for the answer.....Dear Lepretre..some believe that fishes do not sleep rather physiological and metabolic activities are lowered for a short period of time.. for them, sleeping is a sub-conscious state...
