Is there any study available in the area of the impact of eHRM or Human Resources Information System on an organization's performance improvement ?
I am aspired to work in the said area for PhD study. However I am not very sure if there is such work that has been done in the area of Impact of HR Technology on Organizational Performance hence seeking a help / guidance.

When new technology is implemented into an organization, this can often lead to stress and anxiety amongst employees. If not managed effectively, this can lead to feelings of distrust, resentment and resistance. Hence, human resource departments often have the bests knowledge of in-house talent-capacities (IT-skill levels of the workforce) and thus must play a role in managing the implementation of new technology from procurement to implementation.
It is the job of HR to identify all of the issues within the software that could lead to complexity-related anxiety. For this reason, HR and senior managers whom are pushing for the changes must understand that most technologies can be customized to fit the current KSA level amongst employees in away that facilitates company objectives. Prior to the implementation stage, a select group of employees should be invited to test the software, similar to test-marketing. Any bugs found during this stage can be corrected or even eliminated. These employees will later assist with implementation as peer-support or peer trainers.
Note: It is critical to get technology implemented correctly the first time, as it is very like that upgrades and reconfigurations will follow. And the reality is, technology changes quickly. Failure to implement technology in a way that encourages mutual support amongst employees and the elimination of stress. Acceptance of technology and perceived company support are critical to building trust and gaining the full advantage of the new technology.
