If CO2 Levels in Atmosphere & in Oceans are assumed to be in Equilibrium; then, the respective fraction of ‘CO2 in Atmosphere’ & ‘CO2 in Oceans’ is a function of ‘Temperature’: Is it Earth’s Temperature or Ocean’s Temperature?

Does Earth’s Temperature drive Ocean’s Temperature?

If so, does Ocean’s Temperature drive CO2?

OR

Does CO2 (emission from Ocean) drive Ocean’s Temperature; and in turn, the Earth’s Temperature?

OR

Does CO2 (emission from T-Earth) drive Earth’s Temperature; and in turn, the Ocean’s Temperature?

What exactly it means, when the concentrations of CO2 both ‘in the atmosphere’ & ‘in the Oceans’ increase simultaneously?

Assumptions so far:

Role of water-vapor as the largest contributor of the Earth's Greenhouse Gas Effect has been ignored from this discussion as water vapor does not directly control Earth's Temperature . It is the addition of CO2 that subsequently increases the Earth's Temperature; and in turn, leads to an increase in water vapor that further increases the Earth's Temperature.
