The biological control agents are environmentally friendly and cause no side effects. Less cost compared to other chemicals agents – pesticides and insecticides, but can be really helpful in need of food demand (increase in crop production) for growing population of the world.
Of course the biological control is the eco-friendly way to the perspective of environmental as well as health safety point of view. But the continue increase the population, biological control is not enough to overcome the demand of food in short period. So, I think the designing or development of different combination or formulations to keep in mind the chemical as well as biological approach is better way to resolve this problem.
Yes biological control alone is not enough but Integrated Pest Management , a system of managing pests involves using the best combination of cultural, biological and chemical measures for particular circumstances, including plant biotechnology as appropriate. This provides the most cost effective, environmentally sound and socially acceptable method of managing diseases, insects, weeds and other pests in agriculture.
Unfortunately, biocontrol agent can not full fill the demand of food security for growing population. Another solution should be to revise our alimentation model by minimising the rests

Wasting of food is a big issue, if we control this thing, it will help needy person.
The biological control agents such as Trichogramma can help us in managing the population of the pest of crops and trees belonging to agriculture and forestry. If the fruit or yield of a crop/tree is less affected by pest population, there would be more supply of such product in the market, thus we can achieve the goal of food security.
My opinion is that it will have to be perceived because of the increased total population of the planet Earth.UnfortunatelyAlso GMO food.
