About 15 years ago we found (and published) some correlation between antigenic properties of EPS/LPS of Xanthomonas campestris and serotype distribution across countries of contrast climate. Two contrast serotypes survived differently during cold period in planta, and varied in virulence at high temperature. Does anyone make such research on other bacteria? I know only about temperature-dependent toxin synthesis of Pseudomonas syringae.
