I want to deposit a thin layer of SnO2 on a glass substrate by doctor-blade technique, just like we do for standard dye-sensitized solar cells. I couldn´t find any commercial SnO2 paste like TiO2. Does anyone know how to prepare a paste from commercial SnO2 nanoparticles (between 10-40nm aprox.)? Could you recommend any supplier for the nanoparticles?
You can use the thick film technology just like screen printing technique or doctor blade method which you had all ready doing but if you use the proper binder for SnO2 then you can prepare the thick films of SnO2 of up to ~6 micro meter. Also I know the one binder for preparation of thick films in which You can use the terpenol or mixture of 2-2-ethoxy butoxy ethyl acetate.
Is there any reference you could send me? Do you know where can I buy the nanoparticled SnO2?
We have developed a technique to deposit SnO2 coatings of desired thickness with excellent adhesion and still retaining the nanostructured characteristics. Please let me know, if it is of interest to you.
