For livestock farming you may go for dry combustion method. To crop production study you may use wet oxidation method. But for fuel wood harvesting destructive measurements are known to be costly interm of resources, effort and time. Modelling with BEMs is an expedient way of estimating both from field inventories or remote sensing.
