These crabs are juveniles (4th instar) that are being raised in their own containers with constant flow through sea water. Some of the crabs have the strange white lesions (pictured) on them but are hardened and feeding. The others pictured are not hardening or feeding. Most other crabs in the study are normal.

Looks like necrosis. Could be bacterial or viral infection. Treat accordingly.
