We have just applied registration procedure for the some of the Biopesticide strains such as Beauveria bassiana,Metarhiziunm and Trichoderma viride.
I just have shown this leaflet from CIB Official website of Government of India.It has mentioned w/w percentage with specific colony forming unit of microbes per gm of product.I have attached leaflet also.
Does any one conclude what does this means?
w/w - mass concentration in %
spores and some nutrients take 1.15% of total weight, and count by direct plating method gave 100,000,000 germinated spores per gram of the product.
@Alex That means 1.15% W/W of Fungal concentrate has to be of 10¹⁰ cfu?
Right?
Jagdish Patel I think you are right. About 10¹⁰ CFU per g of fungal spores or more, depending on the nutrients left in the suspension.
