For the moment in the literature you can find some studies that include investigation of nutritional properties of the sylimarin in cows, sheeps and fish. Unfortunately I couldn't find for rabbits.

The LD50 value is 140 mg/kg in rabbits after i.v. and after oral administration tolerance is even higher 10 g/kg.
