Literature suggests Think Aloud is a powerful methodology for identifying and mapping thought processes for participants carrying out specific tasks. Most literature focuses on validation of questionnaires and problem-solving i.e. cognitive. I am curious about whether this methodology is revealing of emotions, defences etc but can't find related research. Hoping to use this to look at how healthcare professionals actually think about death and dying, rather than how they say they think about it.
