Does anyone know of a minimal medium for Streptococcus sp and lactobacillus sp that i can use to test the effect of carbon source( such as glucose) that supports their growth ?

All purose twee agar (APT broth). Ordered from Oxoid or its components and you can avoid the main C source by others.
