I am trying to find out what primary school children know and think of the different types of families that exist today (i.e., single-parent families, reconstructed families, extended families, immigrant families, LGBT parent families, etc.)... Is there a validated test or questionnaire for this?

I am sorry that I know of no such test. I would also be interested in knowing how these young children view families that include children with disabilities or other family members with disabilities. If you find anything like that we could modify / design, please let me know.

Dear Nathalie,
we study attitudes toward diversity of family. We have analyzed it interviewing children and adolescent. We anlyzed the attitudes of teachers from primary school toward non conventional families nad we did it between a test that we designed for the study. You can find it in the article Ideas del profesorado de educación primaria sobre la diversidad familiar. Cultura y Educación, 21.
I do not know a validated test that evalute it. If you find it I will interesed in too.
