The biggest problem with Cu and textile is its sensitivity towards oxidation not only during generation but also during usage.
Before treating the textile, predrying should be considered, since Fibres can absorb considerable amounts of water (degree depends on fibre type). In dependence on the usage of treated textile oxidation will be a major problem. To prevent Cu towards oxidation during usage a coating with polysiloxanes might be helpful.
I am not familiar with the textile. But once you plated electroless copper on substrate, you have to isolate the copper from the corrosif environment. In electronics (copper tracks on PCB), it is possible to cover the copper tracks by gold or by tin.
