I have performed all trend protocol to my samples, however my results have very low precisions. If anyone knows and uses any method to measure ACE inhibitor activity , what is the key point in the protocol?
Dear colleague to all my greetings, I am Surgeon Cardiovascular and promise to ask their scientific concern to researchers from my institution and I will keep you abreast
You might be interested to know that a peptide called Ac-SDKP is metabolised exclusively by ACE. Thus, ACE inhibitors will induce an increase of Ac-SDKP in Urine.
this is a very good marker for ACE inhibition (and ACEi compliance).
We do have an ELISA kit to measure Ac-SDKP concentration.
