I read some cost of illness studies talking about using health care/Medical component of the CPI for inflation. However they don’t give a reference where they found them. I have been looking for this information on the statistics bureau of countries such as Australia, Canada, UK and US. However I couldn’t get any information about historical health care/medical component CPI. They just present the aggregated one. I assume the online inflators are also based on the aggregate CPI. Does anyone have an idea how I could get information on historical health care/medical component CPIs?
Thank you!
