Cutting semithin frozen sections embedded in sucrose after mild formaldehyde fixation should do it... then incubating with the antibodies following sectioning (0.5um thick). Alternatively, using critical miscellar concentrations of digitonin could also help permeabilize following mild formaldehyde fixation, made fresh from paraformaldehyde powder is another suggestion.
