02 December 2014 3 7K Report

I'm looking for psychological questionnaires and / or scales to evaluate a group self-defense training for woman with a history of violence (if possible in German, but not required).

I thought about using the

- Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS)

- Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale

- Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS): I only found it in English, but it seemed to be quite handy

- Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist - Civilian Version (PCL-C) or Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale (PDS)

- Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (German Version)

- I also would like to assess self-efficiacy: I found an unpublished Self-defense self-efficacy instrument by Ozer and Bandura (1990). I´m not sure if it is the best  instrument, since we want to calculate pre-post differences and the questions might be to drastic (e.g. "The assailant has you lying on your back with him on top of you. How confident are you that you can, as of now: ..."), especially for the baseline assessment. I´m seriously concerned, that this might trigger women with a history of sexual violence.

In a recent study the The General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE) has been used.

I´m thankful for every hint, comment, critic, etc.

Cheers
