A lot of work has been done on ocean nose in Canadian Arctic as well as elsewhere around the world. There are a number of good textbooks are available, such as:

I have also attached a number of recent papers that look at underwater noise generated by human activities and its effects on marine mammals and other organism. The reference section of these papers should give you a lot of information on what has been done on this subject in the past. Hope this helps.

Hi Thomas thank you for your help. In fact we are assessing the impacts of maritime activities on the environment of Portuguese MPA´s. Therefore the activities and related pressures are quite extensive, Noise was just na exemple and from them all is the one that we have more information.
