I am looking for literature in HCI or museums studies to find out how to explore or access information about the relationship between items in museums and galleries using different kinds of technologies such as visual markers, tangible interface, AR, VR, illustration platform, puzzle activities etc.

Thanks for your answer and providing resources. Though, I went through the paper by Hooper-Greenhill but i couldn't pick up a relevant literature about tangible interfaces that connect items with each other. I am particularly interested to find out how technology can serve the purpose of linking museums and galleries items (if they are related to each other) and which method can be used to represent those linked information.
