Does anyone know about the reactivity of ethylene glycol methyl ether acrylate (Mw=130, monomer) with lithium metal?

I am trying to add this monomer on the surface of lithium but I found that it is highly reactive with lithium. The monomer contains 50-100 ppm MEHQ as an inhibitor. I am not sure that its reactivity with lithium is related to its inhibitor or the monomer by itself react with lithium.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
