I tried to find but I haven't found any article discussing this issue. I've noticed that in most online psychological surveys, the response rate is greater for women (in my own research, the sample was about 65% of women).
I'm looking for something that talks about this issue to cite in my own discussion. Unfortunately, I've found nothing about this.

If it's a random survey such as RIWI surveys, for instance, there will be slightly more male respondents in some parts of the world where Internet access favors males. If the survey is sent to equal numbers of men and women, then more women will respond.

Hi Rafael. I guess the first question is whether that proportional response rate reflects the sampling frame. If the invitation or link is being viewed mainly by psychology students, it might in fact be representative.
