There is no cheap and quick way to identify fungi. You could obtain a picture atlas of most fungi associated with specific samples and do a Lacto-phenol cotton blue staining of teased fruiting bodies and mycelium may help. EXPERIENCE is the only method.
Perhaps this will help you if the fungus are plant pathogens : ephytia. In this website, you will find a lot of pictures to easily identify fungi, given the symptoms or the plant that has been attacked.
