Supply chain management is a purposive process with deliberate actions. SC Founders try to 'Design' the SC, determine the SC 'Strategic Objectives', and select the right SC members so as to provide the right resources, processes, and activities that help to create value and to achieve the SC and SC members objectives. Within this context, one can raise a number of questions:

Who are the SC Founders? the Suppliers of suppliers, Manufacturer, Wholesalers, Retailers, Customers.... In your current SC(s) who are the Founders?

What are the SC Strategic Objectives? do you've something in your mind? In your current SC(s) what are the SC strategic objectives?

What are best methods and techniques that could be used to design SC(s) and select the SC members in way fit and match with the SC strategic objectives?

Hope to hear from you soon....

Pllease make it clear if you are talking about your opinion or the actual situation in your SC.

Regards.
