For many years I have applied cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive for obliteration of small uncomplicated hydatid cysts of the liver in children. It is true that in the Balkan region and especially in Bulgaria the number of the diagnosed echinococcosis significantly decreased. But there are cases of large cysts in which the use of radiofrequency thermal ablation looks pretty tempting.
