I have a 30 years old with middle aortic syndrome and also has Williams syndrome. She has significant claudication, postprandial abdominal pain and hypertension. Surgically, she would benefit from thoracic to abdominal aortic bypass. I am however, now sure how the vascular tissue holds sutures in this syndrome and would an open operation be safe.
