Does anyone have experience with purification of Schiff and Mannich base derivatives of Isatin molecule?

Can anyone help me with purification of Schiff and Mannich base derivatives of Isatin molecule.

Schiff and Mannich base derivatives of Isatin giving very close two spots on TLC .

How can I separate these two compounds from each other.

Crystallization from ethyl alcohol and column chromatography with chloroform: methanol (4,9:0,1) did not work.

Purification by olumn chromatography could be problematic due to unstability of imines. Try chromatography with neutral alumina You should use TLC on alumina (they are comercial) to determine the correct eluent befor chromatography. Remember maintain the sports below Rf=0.3
