I have not been able to solve the hypsometric analysis issue using ArcGIS 10. Can anyone knidly give me the steps in using CalHypso, I have installed it in my ArcGIS 10 but it's not doing anything, it's not bringing up any suggested task to be performed.
Better still if there is suggestion of any method to be used in performing hypsometric analysis using ArcGIS 10, I will deeply appreciate if you could kindly give this to me.

I suggest the use of the plug-in aforementioned in the previus answer by our collegue; It is simple to install and add to your toolbox. You just need as input a DEM clipped in the area of your watershed (using "extract by mask" tool for example) and you can easly obtain a raster having as attributes the colums "proplevation" and "proparea" from which you can plot the Hypsometric curve.

I think this may be the problem of compatibility of ARCGIS 10 with the CalHypso. If you are using ARCGIS 10 then you have to install the compatible version of Calhypso, otherwise it will not work. For solution you can directly mail to the author (José Vicente Perez) for the software. Me also faced the same problem with my ARCGIS 10.1 version. Thanks to Prof. Perez who send me the correct version of CalHypso, and now it is running fine..
