freeze-thaw is effectivelly applied method for gel formation, however great care and precaution are needed since this method is usually an adverse affect which is chain scission or degradation, which induces great damage on the gel performance. Regards

Dear Mam,

Recently, one research group from korea has been published an excellent work based on formation of PVA hydrogel with contacting one end of polymer solution to LN2 surface. PLease find the attachment of article which may provide some ideas for you.
