Anatomic plate to tibial plateau is best suited, allows placement of more screws in the metaphyseal and epiphyseal region, providing more stability than reconstruction plate (it's an exception in the treatment of plateau fractures)
Anatomical plates are better suited. They allow for better alignment and stability. Some anatomical plates come with combi holes for shaft screws which allows for locking screws placement and thus reduces risk of screw backout and implant failure.
