Hi! I'm doing respirometry on my isolated mitochondria but have been getting some atypical results- instead of going to state2 at the addition of succinate, my mitos appear to skip to state3, with no/little change when I add ADP afterwards. The Post-doc who has been helping me with this has stated that this means that ADP is not my limiting reagent, but I have been trying to look into what this means, how to interpret this, and what other conditions have these things occurred, but I have been coming up with...a lot of irrelevant information on my searches through the Oroboros site and through google scholar. Does anyone have any resources for this?
