Does anyone have any experience of the entity called "proliferative funiculitis" in the spermatic cord?

I had a case of testicular pain and enlarged testicle presenting as an emergency that required scrotal exploration and orchidectomy for the suspicion of testicular torsion. Intraoperative appearance was of a spermatic cord lesion encroaching the vessels with normal testicle and epididymis. Final histology showed multiple large vessels set in inflamed fibrous tissue.

I had 3 cases of severe orchitis with funiculitis that needed exploration to avoid the compression of the cord against the external inguinal ring that can cause venous followed by arterial gangrene. So clinically significant funiculitis needs urgent exploration and incision of the external ring to avoid compression
