Does anyone have an idea about D.Sc (Doctor of Sciences)? which country has this program and how to apply?

In Finland, The normal doctoral degree for Engineers in Technical universities is the D.Sc. (Tech), but to get D.Sc. (Tech) you need to first have M.Sc. (Tech). Typically the difference between a DSc and PhD is that when the PhD's are doing dissertation work, the DSc's are doing praxis work.
