.I am looking for a probability density function for ferritin that could be used to develop a computer model to see whether this reported electron transport behavior is consistent with the behavior of quantum dots.
A quick update - I found a researcher who is developing a QM/MM model for ferritin, Juan Rojas, see "Massive quantum regions for simulations on
bio-nanomaterials: synthetic ferritin nanocages," DOI 10.1039/C7CC09512K. Additional work is needed to develop a full model, but it seems like a lumped parameter model could also be developed for use in modelling mesoscopic devices that use ferritin.
