I tend to address the First World War in my research but it occurs to me that as far as Quetta is concerned there ought to be something useful in the India Office Records at The British Library (L/MIL series) and the Annual Indian Army Lists and the Annual British Army Lists.

Thank you, Julian.  The Army List has proven to be unfruitful ground thus far;  I will check the L/Mil series -thank you for the tip.  Strangely though, a surprising source was a couple  of photographs held in the Royal Logistics Corps Museum at Deepcut. Two fully named photographs from 1931 and 1932 listing the whole body - students (both current years) and instructors.  Inductively, therefore, if 1931 & 1932 exist...

Though patchy, have you considered the electoral roll? I cannot say for certain but as a source of information about Oswald Mosley's HQ staff, it was rather helpful for me when I once sought the letter's identities.
