I'm not that good in forging Simulation but a Project Partner of mine is: Kanyakumari Datta . She has simulated even the metal foam forging (we are working at metal foams). She is surely able to help.
I think this software is easy to use and give reasonable results. All depending on the accuracy of your material property data of course. For good simulation results you may need to investigate your specific alloys flow properties at varying temperatures. This can be done for example at the AGH University in Krakow on Polen. Please let me know if you need further references.
